This particular unit had been made redundant by the install in SEMP and was lying decommissioned for approximately 6 months before the client was in a position to authorise its removal. Due to production demands access windows were extremely limited and to assist the client we worked with their quality team to develop a removal strategy which could be executed with the rest of the factory running.

With the use of trusted mechanical and electrical teams we were able to remove 90% of the equipment safely during normal production reducing crane use and shortening a possible 5 day closure down to 1 day.
